Hamadan Handmade Rug Exhibition Overview
The Hamadan exhibition of handmade carpets and picture carpets is held almost every year to promote Persian handmade carpets, especially Hamadan rugs. This exhibition represents rugs, carpets of many types, and picture carpets from manufacturers and carpet workshops of Hamedan and its villages (Like Nahavand and Toyserkan), and the handwoven rugs of carpet workshops from most of the Persian carpet regions of Iran, such as Isfahan, Khorasan, Tabriz, Qom, and Yazd. This exhibition offers a diverse collection of real Persian handmade carpets and provides the conditions for communication between manufacturers, traders, and rug dealers.
