Kermanshah Handmade Carpet Exhibition

First Persian carpet exhibition of west Kurdish tribes in Iran

Kermanshah is one of Iran's cities in the west of this country, where most of the population includes Kurdish tribes (Kurdish Sorani). This unique and brave tribe provides and creates some rare and noble styles and designs of Persian carpets, called "Persian Kurdish rugs." Though the style and pattern of their handwoven products differ from those of the Kurdish tribes of northeast Iran, they are similar. The Handmade Carpet Exhibition in Kermanshah, representing handmade carpets of diverse styles in the Persian carpet industry, is an excellent opportunity for manufacturers of handmade Kurdish rugs in Kermanshah or nearby villages and cities.
