The historical bazaar of Ganjali Khan is a part of a historical complex that is also called the Ganjali Khan complex and includes a mosque, a bathhouse, a bazaar, a caravanserai, and a school with pure architecture that represents the simple and mysterious sense of desert. This complex was built by the order of a great governor about 400 years ago in the Safavid dynasty. This governor, called Ganjali Khan, had an essential role in Kerman's progress and culture. The History of Ganjali Khan Bazaar

The Ganjali Khan Bazaar is a part of a historical complex built during the Safavid dynasty in Iran for almost 30 years, from 1596 to 1625. The name of this complex and its bazaar is derived from the great Kerman governor of that time, "Ganjali Khan," who was chosen by King Abbas I Safavid to look after this province. Ganjali Khan had a significant effect on the progress in Kerman City. He developed the people's cultures and equipment during his governance and established many roads and general buildings, like the Ganjali Khan bazaar. The architect of this bazaar and some parts of the complex was "Sultan Mohammad," who designed 16 repeated arches at the right of the bazaar, which make a beautiful view, and 18 stores on the left. The Ganjali Khan bazaar still has its commercial aspects after centuries. It is a place for local Kerman people to buy their daily needs or offer unique products and handicrafts.
