This wool and silk Persian mat rug is woven in Nain, Iran, with fine and high-grade fibers in high knot density. The design of this 3 x 2 feet rug is unique, ordered by the dynast of the Qajar period in Isfahan, who was called "Zelosoltan." Zelosoltan had a wife who loved Persian rugs and established many workshops in Isfahan. She managed the production processes of many handwoven rugs in different forms of this pattern.
