This particular rug with exciting patterns, representing the jungle, is woven by the Persian Baluch rugs of north-eastern Iran. With its remarkable design and colors, this rug has many differences from other handwoven carpets of this tribe. Most Persian Baluch rugs have dark red and black colors; however, this handmade rug in shades of cream and brown has excellent harmony. The motifs are influenced by the local nature of the Baluch tribes of northeastern Iran.

The rug has one of the unique designs of Persian Baluch tribes, including local animal motifs and birds like mountain goats and gazelles among flowers and bushes. These motifs are interwoven and have similar shades, making it even more enjoyable!
Like most Persian Baluch rugs, this one is also made of wool warps, wefts, and piles. They spun wool fibers by hand, taking them from their herds, and sometimes used camel wool. The Baluch tribe's woolen fibers are rough like some tribal hand-spun fibers, causing almost all of their handmade rugs to become soft and lightweight! They always dye these fibers with natural dyes using their traditional methods.
