Isfahan Carpet Bazaar is one of the branches of the main Bazaar, Qeysarrieh, the longest market globally, with a two-kilometer arched roadway that connects the old and new parts of the cities. This market dates back to the 11th century, but the contemporary construction was for the Safavid dynasty in the 17th century. Qeysarrieh was one of the gates of the Naqsh-e Jahan Square, where the royal families of the Safavid court were playing the Chogan game there.
