This rug represents the marriage of Napoleon with Marie Louis in its unique way, as it seems that the pattern was customized before. Weavers tried to display an ancient European atmosphere with the architecture and fashion of that time. Colors are in great harmony; all were applied on fibers with natural dyes.
The Texture of this carpet has a high density. Warps are high-grade, and thin cotton and piles are silk and fine wool, employed both together in the Texture. The width of this antique rug is about 1.9 meters, and the height is 2.9 meters, with a soft surface and completely straight and smooth side that show the high quality of the weaving of this handmade rug.
