Josheghan Rug

Josheghan is a small city near Kashan (the most famous city in Iran for carpet producers) in Isfahan province with nearly 5,000 residents. The town was regarded as one of the best carpet producers in Iran as it was one of the central places for carpet workshops in the Safavid period. According to their rich history, they have a precious heritage of carpet designs and techniques. Among other Persian styles, main Safavid motifs such as “Shah Abbasi” and palmette flowers are common in their rugs.
